Bear Creek is a very small trout stream that has a steady downhill gradient. When Bear Creek is runnable it is a nonstop long rapid from start to finish. A short section of geat class 3-4 rapids from top to bottom. Bear Creek becomes raftable when almost all other rivers are to high to raft. Draining most of Accident, MD. Bear Creek has over a 48 sq mi water shed. It does run a lot in the late winter early spring and after summer rain storms.
